My name is Brutis - I am glad you stopped in to say hi! What is your name? I really like to get to know new people!

I am a lead horse on a world famous Clydesdale hitch. I can tell you all kinds of neat stories. After being in this career so long, I really have seen some neat stuff! I first came from Minnesota, my early life was really simple. I don’t remember much about my mom and dad, but my first home had a lot of Palomino horses too. I used to pull wagons full of feed for them. I worked with another horse called Bud. When I was 3, my owners took me to a place where there were all kind of horses. After 2 days, I went to a home in Iowa with Bud and my new people. I have now lived with the Brown’s for 15 years!

I have had lots of adventures! Now that I am in late middle age for a horse, I want to tell you more about myself. My people can help you learn more- they have just tons of stories and pictures and other neat stuff to do to help you learn about my world! It is really neat- and there are other Clydesdale friends I have too.

I already know your name- but I would really like to find out more. I can share a lot of neat stuff when you just give me your address- and for a small fee of $30.00 a year, you can get updates, stories and more photos of me. I will even put my hoof print on a photo for you! If you join my fan club, you can see more neat stuff you can buy too. My people will be sure to send you a list. I don’t know all of the stuff, they are always doing something.

I can also arrange to let you know where I will be this year- I am slowing down, letting Phil do some of my work now, but I still get around!

You can also talk to my people about a Brutis Camp! You and your friends and family can come and meet me at my home. My people can arrange either a camping trip, or a hotel stay, for a weekend. You can meet me, and my horse friends. You can even learn how to drive us! And you can see some of the neat historical sites I have been around my whole adult life!
